Dufeck Mfg Celebrates 100 Years in Denmark, WI
May 11, 2012
In1905, brothers Martin, Simon, Albert and James Dufeck purchased a cheese box factory from the Albrecht Brothers of Black Creek,WI (Stangleville Area). In 1912, after the railroad came to Denmark, the Dufeck Brothers relocated their mill to the village of Denmark, WI. On August 9th, of that same year, their new building burned down but the resilient Dufeck family rebuilt their factory and it still stands today at the core of the production. There have been additions since and the 4th generation is assuming ownership continuing the tradition and strengthening the statement that we are "Quality in Wood."
We are a proud 112 years old this year but are even prouder of the fact that we have spent 100 of those years in a true "Main Street USA" community, Denmark, WI.
